SB 5 Not Law Yet Already Saving Ohio Schools Money and Jobs

Jalen Rose Talks School Reform to MI Lawmakers

Jalen Rose, a member of the Fab Five and former NBA player answered questions from the Michigan Senate Education Committee. Rose opened a charter school, The Jalen Rose Leadership Academy, Fall 2011 in Detroit. Dr. Tony Bennett, the Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction also talked to the committee about the education reforms Indiana has made this year.

Wisconsin Unions Attack Private School

Messmer College Prep Catholic Academy in Milwaukee was the site of a recent union protest. Participants did not want Governor Scott Walker to appear at the school to read to students. Vandalism and threats occurred during the protest.

Wisconsin Taxpayers Strike Back Against WEAC

While WEAC activists were mounting a protest at the New Berlin school board meeting, taxpayers responded in-kind. The New Berline school board is taking advantage of a cost-saving law enacted by Gov. Scott Walker. EAGtv reports from the scene.
